Terms and Conditions for Travel Bookings

Welcome to Sabona.Travel!

By booking travel with Sabona Travel, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking and Deposit

  • A deposit of 30% of the total travel fee is due within 5 business days of your itinerary quote being accepted by client and prior to 90 days before trip commencement date.

  • The deposit secures reservations with our local providers, including accommodations, guides, transportation and activities.

  • Bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

2. Full Payment

  • The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days prior to departure.

  • Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of your booking, with no refund of the deposit.

  • This policy aligns with local provider requirements to secure reservations and accommodations.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable if trip is cancelled within 90 days of trip departure/expected departure date.

  • Cancellations after full payment is made within 60 days inclusive, of the trip departure/expected departure will result in only 70% of the funds being refunded.

  • We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may arise prior and/or during your trip.

  • If circumstances arise that are unforeseen and exceptional within 60 days prior to the trip commencement, Sabona Travel may be able to reschedule the trip to another period that is within 12 months from the original expected date of trip commencement.

4. Liability

  • Sabona Travel is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, accident, or cancellation affecting any part of your trip or denial into the country due to invalid visas or misconduct, etc.

  • Travelers participate in all activities at their own risk.

  • Sabona Travel encourages all travelers to have comprehensive travel insurance and to purchase it prior to paying the deposit. This may assist in providing coverage for losses resulting from unforeseen and/or exceptional circumstances.

5. Changes to Booking

  • Any requests to amend bookings after confirmation are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

  • While we strive to accommodate changes, they cannot always be guaranteed.

6. Travel Documents and Requirements

  • Travelers are responsible for securing valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and any other requirements associated with destination travelling to.

  • Failure to meet entry requirements may result in denied access to services, with no refund provided.

7. Governing Law and Amendments

  • Sabona Travel reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

  • Updated terms apply to all bookings made after the changes are published.
